SphereNeb is an abstract portrait, only instead of using an individual’s physical visual form as the driving subject matter. The form is derived from an individual’s data, in this instance Date of Birth, Age and Date of portrait creation. Spherenebs are three-dimensional digital models which are rendered and presented here as two-dimensional images.
The colour in Spherenebs is derived from real-world random ink paintings (inknebs) which have been scanned into the digital realm, and just as many elements influence and interact with each other in the world around us. The inkneb influences the Sphereneb, mostly through the transmission of colour.
Shadow shapes are the division of space by trajectories, determined by points and the distribution of colour within the shapes they create.
Shadow-Shapes are available as signed prints,
or a special square Shadow-Shapes has been created which is used on the following sites for other things.
